Denora: Denora 1.4.1 released!
Roughly three months after our long-awaited and thankfully successful new stable release, I'm pleased to present you Denora version 1.4.1.
The most notable changes: Charybdis support actually works now, support for Nefarious and other P10 ircds has been improved, compiling on Windows has been fixed and a potential security issue in string handling has been adressed. Besides this, there are some other minor fixes.
Almost in the last minute I managed to get Denora 1.4.1 working on Windows with SQL enabled. So I rolled out an installer for Windows users. Please have in mind that Denora still needs extensive testing on Windows, so Windows users should consider this a test release. Please give us feedback through this Bug Tracker.
Anyway, since this release contains a (minor) security fix, all existing Denora users are advised to upgrade.
Denora: Denora 1.4.0 released!
Yes. Oh, yes... It's there. Over two years and 9 months after the last stable release, we now finally set the next major version in the wild: Denora 1.4.0!
There have been hundreds of changes, improvements and fixes. We believe Denora 1.4 will bring you a more reliable and satisfying experience.
The Denora project is now committed on releasing minor 1.4.x versions as long as improvements are made.
Denora 1.4 comes with support for most of current major ircd stable releases out there, including the popular Unreal 3.2 and the rapidly growing Inspircd 1.1 series. A release for Windows will follow in a couple of weeks, since we need to sort some problems out first.
Please read the README and doc/INSTALL files for instructions on how to install/upgrade.
Special thanks go to all the people involved in giving feedback, reporting bugs, and testing.
We hope you'll enjoy this shiny new release!
PS: We need C coders! If you are familiar with Anope or Denora, and of course with C coding, we would really appreciate you joining our developer team to help Denora grow faster! Just drop me an email: hal9000 (at) denorastats (dot) org. Thanks!
Denora: New Project Management System
Welcome!
We have recently moved our project management to Redmine, a complete solution that includes bug tracking, wiki, forums, downloads, repository viewing etc. all in one.
This replaces all our previous facilities.
The old logins from Mantis were imported, but for technical reason we had to generate new passwords for everyone. You should have got an email with the new password.
The logins from our old forum do not exist anymore. Just use your Mantis login, or register here as a new user.
We hope you will find yourself at home at our new basement ;)
